Why The Beliefs Of Muslims And Islam Are Misinterpreted?

Understanding the Teachings of Islam:

The teachings of Islam are based on spreading the message of peace. There are many non-believers who have portrayed a very wrong image of Islam. According to these extremists, they say that religion Islam promotes terror and killings of people. Despite the false claim and misconceptions that are spread by the opponents of Islam, religion Islam is spreading very fast because of its teachings. If you study Islam in detail, you will see that it gives the message of humanity and peace. Here, it is very important to understand the distinction between Quran and Sunnah. The fact is that both Quran and Sunnah are aligned with the teachings of the Creator, while on the other hand it is very possible for Muslims to deviate from their right path.

If a person believes in the teachings of Quran and Islam, then it becomes very clear that Islam is a sacred religion that is against any kind of violence and killings of humans.

Stance of Quran and Islam on Killings of People:

As it is said in the Holy Quran:

"Nor take life -- which Allaah has made sacred -- except for just cause. And if anyone is slain wrongfully, we have given his heir authority (to demand retaliation or to forgive): but let him not exceed bounds in the matter of taking life, for he is helped (by the Law)."

Killing of any individual or a human is strictly prohibited in Islam. It is said in Quran that if a person kills any human, he commits a grave sin in the name of Islam. If Holy Quran says that killings of Muslims is a grave sin then it is a proof that Almighty Allah is Just and the phrase and words which are used against Islam must be avoided and neglected. For the better understanding of Islam, it is very true that the message of Quran should be spread to all mankind. Every Muslim should try to learn Islam and Quran. If any person is facing difficulty in learning Quran by going to any mosque or any institution, then he can join the course of Quran Learning Online on the internet and learn Quran at his home. Only then they would be able to understand the difference between “terrorism and Islam”.

There is another very big misconception about the religion Islam, which states that Islam has forced ‘Jihaad’ on all Muslims. The term “holy war” originated from the early Crusades, and later on it penetrated among the Muslims of the Jerusalem. Another major misconception is regarding the Islamic Judicial system. There is a very crude misconception about this system  that it is very harsh. But this misconception is very weak in two aspects. First this belief states that human beings are more Just and Merciful than the creator, which results a change in the law. Second belief states that it is based on the oversimplification of Islamic law. Therefore, this concept cannot be justified by any means.

The Two Core Values Of Islamic Economic System

Islam being a complete code of life provides information regarding every aspect life whether it is social, religious, ethical or economic aspect. Therefore, whenever Muslims desire any kind of guidance in economic matters or the economic system, they turn towards Quran and Sunnah.

In Quran, the perfect economic system is given and the sayings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) compliment it making it the perfect choice for economic activities. Every Quran tutoring institute must educate their students regarding such matters so that when they grow up they can adapt to the Islamic economic system easily.

Without going into the details, the Islamic economic system relies heavily on two aspects. First one is that Allah Almighty is the giver of everything, thus everything is a blessing from Him, and second is the factor of accountability which will take place in the world hereafter.

The existence of Allah Almighty and His being the Creator allows a Muslim to make use of the facilities and blessings provided by Allah Almighty and use them for the purpose of economic activity. Allah Almighty says in Quran:

“God is He Who made subservient to you the sea that the ships may run therein by His command, and that you may seek of His grace, and that you may give thanks.” (45:12)

Thus if a Muslim knows that the origin of all the activities and things is from Allah Almighty, he will never misuse or deprive others of the benefits of the activities. Therefore, such an economic system will be just and will have the spirit of sharing, equality and justice.

However, there are people who misuse the blessings of Allah and in their economic transactions make waste of the resource and do not deliver them to the deserving. For such people, the accountability in the life hereafter serves as a refrain and makes them develop and run an economic system that is according to the rules of Islam. Allah Almighty says in Quran:

“It is He Who produces gardens, with trellises and without, and dates, and tilth with produce of all kinds, and olives and pomegranates, similar (in kind) and different (in variety): eat of their fruit in their season, but render the dues that are proper on the day that the harvest is gathered. But waste not by excess: for God loves not those who waste.” (6:141)

In short, the core of the Islamic economic system is Allah Almighty being the creator and the provider of everything, while the humans utilizing those provided elements for economic gains with the fear of accountability in the world hereafter.

The Concept of Death In Islam Under The Light of Quran

Death is an evident fact. Every living thing that is born, one day has to die. From religious point of view all the Abrahamic religions enforce the idea of inevitability of death. Among them Islam is the one that stresses greatly on the death and regards it as a transitory phase to the afterlife.

There are different cults in world that say that somehow a person can beat death and achieve immortality. Islam is against such cults and seriously enforces that one that is begotten one day has to die and return to Allah Almighty. There are several verses of Quran that speak about the concept of death in Islam.

In Quran Allah Almighty says:

“It is not given to any soul to die save by Allah’s permission, and at an appointed time.” (3:145)

In this verse, Allah Almighty says that only He knows when a person is to die and no soul in this world knows when he is to die. Therefore, when Allah Almighty wishes the soul has to die without any prior knowledge of it.

Furthermore, Allah Almighty says in Quran:

“Indeed there is no certainty in life except death. Every soul will taste death.” (3:185)

This ayah refuses the cults famous in the world that in some way someone can beat death. Allah Almighty clearly states it that if there is one thing that is certain in life, it is the death and there is no escaping it.

Islam also speaks about the time of death as well. In Quran, Allah Almighty says:

“Not only is death itself inescapable, but the place and the very day and hour of death have been forever fixed: No person knows what he will earn tomorrow and no person knows in what land he will die.” (31:34)

In this ayah it is clear that no one knows about the place and time of death, rather it has been already fixed by Allah Almighty and no person can escape it. No one can live a minute or a second longer or less than what has been destined or written by Allah Almighty.

In short, death is inevitable, no person can beat it, there is a fixed place and time of death and everyone has to die at that specific time and at that specific place.

A Perfect System Of Digestion Of Human Body By The Creator

Breathing, Walking and Eating are the basic and natural functions that every human performs. However, most people are not aware of the fact how all these actions take place. Like for example, if you eat fruit, you don’t have enough knowledge how it becomes useful for your body. Only thing that comes into your mind is how you can satisfy your appetite. During the absorption of food, your body gets involved into many unimaginable and detailed processes. Your digestive process starts at the moment when food is taken into mouth. First saliva in your mouth wets the food and helps it to grind into small pieces with your teeth.

Later on food with the help of saliva is transported to stomach through esophagus. Your stomach contains hydrochloric acid that helps in the digestion of food. This acid is very strong and it has the ability to dissolve food as well as your stomach walls. Now the question comes into mind that this type of flaw cannot be incorporated in a perfect system. There is a secretion known as mucus, and it is secreted during the process of digestion, mucus coves the walls of stomach and protects it against the destructive effect of hydrochloric acid.

When food enters into stomach, gastric juices break down the food. This is an automated system of the human body. During the secretion of dissolving acid, walls of stomach have to produce secretion named mucus which protects the stomach during the secretion of acid. This step by step system of a human body makes a person think about the creator of this system. This shows that human body is like a huge factory that has many small machines which work in a perfect harmony. Just like the factories of various goods have a designer, an engineer or a planner, similarly the human body has an “Exalted Creator”.

Make Your Believe And Faith Strong in Almighty Allah

Making your believe and faith strong in Almighty Allah is the ultimate goal of every Muslim. Having good and sound understanding of religion Islam is very important because this is the only thing that lays the strong foundation of Faith and it results in strengthening the believes of a Muslim. Many people learn from their elders or believe on what they are taught from their loved ones. But first, you have to have the right intention and desire to be aware and learn the teachings of Islam.

Strengthening your Imaan:

Quran has spoken a lot about strengthening Iman, and its significance is also mentioned in various hadiths as well. The foundation of Islam lies on five pillars and a Muslim must follow these in his life. This will result in the false establishment of Imaan. There will be many obstacles that a person might face initially, but he must remain consistent towards his goal of strengthening Imaan. You should develop the habit of learning Quran and make it part of your life. There are many sources of Holy Quran teaching available that can help you in learning Quran and will strengthen your faith in Almighty Allah. The question that every Muslim should ask from himself is where does he stand and what is he doing to strengthening his Imaan.

It is said in the Holy Quran:

"There is nothing like Him and He is the Hearer, the Seer". ( 42 : 11 ) Al-Quran.
Strengthening of Imaan means accepting the fact that you believe in Almighty Allah and his teachings and having faith that Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) is his messenger. Everyone should try to build up a strong connection with Almighty Allah which should be based on the fact that your goal is to only please Allah, not anyone else. This is the essence of a true Muslim.
